  • Condition: In gently used condition. No cracks or chips noted in jade cabochons under magnification. Brooch's stem is bowed a little outward, but doesn't affect wearability or appearance and latching mechanism is in very good condition. Glue which was used to hold jade cabs to brooch has yellowed, which is typical for an older piece. Edges are a little pointy since were terminated at angles. Please review photos!

    Description

    Up for consideration is a vintage/estate, genuine jade floral designed brooch, possibly an unhallmarked 'Swoboda'. Could be an early piece or even as late as the 1970s.  Has the style of their brooches and seems it may be gold plated ~ Swoboda jewelry typically was gold plated.  Brooch may be worn either vertical or horizontal.
