    Description

This is a wonderful smokey brown vase by E O Brody. It is textured in a crumbled or ripple pattern. I don't know if this is hand blown but it shows wonderful bubbles at the bottom and at the base and if you look closely you can see it in the texture part of the vase. . This vase is 8 5/8" in height, the mouth of the vase is 3 7/8" in diameter and the circumference is 12" at its widest. This vase is in wonderful condition with no cracks, crazing, chips or scratches
The E O Brody Company was founded in 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio by Ernest Oscar Brody. Known as E O in the florist trade. He idea was to sell utility glass floral containers exclusively to florist and to market them through wholesale florists who in turn would sell to retail florists. These were made by US glass manufacturers using E O's own molds marked with the company name. In 2007, after a takeover in 1971 and a merger in 1988, they merged again this time with Anchor Hocking.
