  • Condition: 2 Cups and 2 Saucers in excellent vintage condition. No chips or cracks. No scratching or wear. These look like they may have never been used. White body with dark turquoise blue trim. The pieces are mismatched but the color is close. The cups are made by Buffalo China, the saucers by Mayer. They color shades are close but the saucers are a slightly darker shade of turquoise.

    Description

    We are offering 4 beautiful pieces of vintage Chinaware. Often called Diner Dishes. The lot consists of 2 cups and 2 saucers. They are 2 different brands with a very similar pattern. The cups are made by Buffalo China while the 2 saucers are made by Mayer China. The cups are about 6 oz capacity and were commonly used in restaurants and diners back in the day. Both have a white body with 2 slightly different shades of turquoise trim. NOTE: The color shade of turquoise trim on the cups is slightly different that the turquoise on the saucers. Not an exact match but may be close enough for casual use. Also, the bottom of the cup is ever so slightly bigger than the cup indentation on the saucer. These pieces must have been carefully stored away for many decades because they are in excellent condition. They barely look used at all. We will pack all cups and saucers very carefully to prevent damage.
