    Description

For sale is a 1959 Elvis Presley holiday postcard that is in great condition.
It says: "Holiday Greetings to You All - Elvis and the Colonel"
A little background about the Elvis greeting cards...
Every year at Christmas, Colonel Tom Parker printed greeting cards as gestures to fan clubs, lesser business associates, the media, and miscellaneous contacts. Occasionally, these postcards ended up as a bonus in an Elvis album. Sometimes Elvis was pictured alone on the card, but often the Colonel was pictured alongside him, usually in a Santa Claus suit.  As the years went by, stranger versions of the annual Christmas postcard began to appear.
In early 1959, when Elvis was in the Army, a photographer and Elvis walked around Bad Nauheim. The most famous shot of that day became the cover of the 'Big Hunk' single. But more pics were taken, one ended up on a Christmas-card from Elvis and the colonel, and another on the cover of the boot 'Greetings From Germany'.
The postcard is unused and in excellent condition (see photos) - no stains.  This is a rare item and at memorabilia auctions, this postcard sells for 5.
The back side of the postcard features a (misdated) telegram from Elvis sent to the Colonel for his fans.
Very cool piece of Elvis history.
