    ULTRA RARE -- BABE RUTH: 'SULTAN OF SWAT' -- SPORTS IMPRESSIONS
    Vintage Babe Ruth Sports Impression Collector Plate that was painted by Joseph Catalano in 1987 and released in 1992. It is 8 1/2 inches in diameter and features The Babe mid-swing and the main photo of Ruth holding a bundle of bats. A depiction of the famous façade of Yankee Stadium is located on the right. The plate is rimmed with a gold plate featuring "Babe Ruth" at the top and his nickname “The Sultan of Swat” at the bottom. Only 5,000 of these collectible plates were produced.     Measurements: 8 1/2 inches in diameter by 3/4 inches deep. There is a pack of 3 x 5-inch cards in one or more picture for size comparison.
    Vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks. The top back has some staining from being displayed...some yellowing. Please reference the pictures and email with any condition questions and we will be happy to answer.
