Brand new, never been on a horse, this M1859 Three Buckle Bridle is hand cut, hand dyed and hand sewn copy of the original issue U.S. Cavalry item used during the Civil War and into the Indian War period. Correct handware, top quality U.S. Bridle leather used through out. This bridle is stamped with the WATERVELIET ARSENAL stamp and inspected by A.D. Laidley, Ordnance Department Sub-inspector. No rosettes with this bridle, many arsenals completed and issued bridles with no rosettes, preferring to push equipment to the troops rather than wait on such additional parts.
