Luxury Fur Coat Brush Tool Vintage

Description

This wooden handled fur brush was used to brush out mink and other valuable furs.  The bristles are very soft metal graduating from shorter hairs at the top to longer hairs at the base.  The back of the bristle pad is lightly stamped "Made in the USA".  The handle is a smooth rounded piece, sculpted at the top with a silver connecting collar.
This tool was found in a climate controlled storage facility that people used to store their fine furs for the summer months.  It's in descent condition, with a sturdy handle and wires in place.  The framing of the wire bed is a bit rusty and the mitering is separated in two corners.
