Historical Replica Powder Horn w/ Leather Strap
Dating back to war time battles of old.
This powder horn
is constructed from a polished cow horn, a brass pinned wooden cap, and removable end-plug of wood. It is finished with a leather hanging strap.  Your powder is contained in the horn by pouring it into the horn after removing the small wooden end-plug. This fully functional horn then acts as a natural funnel for your powder when needed for your firearm.  It is a good idea to periodically wipe down the exterior of the powder horn with a light coating of vegetable oil to prevent dryness and cracking. The lifespan of your powder horn is extended by giving the exterior a light coat vegetable oil periodically. These powder horns are made from organic materials, therefore size and coloration will vary.
