LASER 1 OPAQUE® Heat Transfer Paper
LASER 1 OPAQUE® Heat Transfer Papers are designed for both oil and oil-less laser copiers and laser printers for the heat transfer of high-resolution photographs and images binders, padfolios, paper, leather, magnets, wood veneer, nylon and more. Choose garments that have a
tight weave. This is particularly important when transferring to sweatshirts.
IMPORTANT
: Make one shirt and wash it by itself before producing your order. This will help you from making costly mistakes and will allow you to take corrective action before you make a quantity of shirts. When the instructions are followed you will get excellent results!
PRINTING:
IMPORTANT: For textile printing anything higher than 200-250 DPI is a waste of ink & time and it will not produce better results. In fact, you may create a problem if you use too much ink!
1. LASER 1 OPAQUE
Paper works in most color laser printers and color laser copiers.
2. DO NOT mirror the image. Copy/print on the coated, unprinted side of the transfer.
3. LASER 1 OPAQUE® Paper should be fed into the copier or printer with the short dimension first (grain long) using the by-pass tray.
4. Trim away the unprinted areas of the transfer if desired.
5. Slowly peel the paper backing from the transfer film, starting with a small tear in the corner to make separating easier
TRANSFERRING Using A Commercial Heat Press
:
1.Place imaged transfer film face up on garment or substrate and cover it with a silicone ironing sheet (sold sperately). Place a flat single layer of fabric such as a pillow case or t-shirt over the the ironing sheet. Press 2 minutes at 300F using medium pressure. Re-use of the ironing sheets are not recommended.
2.Allow to cool completely before removing the silicone ironing sheet.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
Turn garment inside out and wash in cold water using a mild detergent. Do not use bleach. Dry on low heat setting. Do not iron directly on the transferred area.
STORAGE AND HANDLING OF LASER 1 OPAQUE® HEAT TRANSFER PAPERS Store LASER 1 OPAQUE® HEAT TRANSFER PAPERS in a cool, dry area and do not remove from carton or poly bag until you are ready to use.
NOTE: Dark colored polyester and nylon are not recommended because the dyes may migrate through the transfer.
Use poly/cotton or Cotton fabrics
Not for use on white fabrics
FOR USE IN LASER PRINTERS ONLY. Not for use in inkjet printers
Set Printer to: DO NOT mirror T-Shirt Transfer image. Use Normal image quality
Do NOT over saturate with toner
Trim the image
Use in a well-ventilated area
Leave finished item for at least 24 hours before washing
Fabrics may then be machine washed separately (inside out) in cold water
DO NOT USE BLEACH or bleach additive detergent
Do NOT use fabric softener
Dry at normal setting.
Do not dry clean
Keep product in closed package between uses. Store in a cool dry place
