this image is printed on heavy weight semi gloss archival canvas to give the appearance of an OLD oil painting.
This print has turned out fantastic on satin canvas.
It looks like an old richly painted oil painting.

Approximate size:
16 3/4 x 21 1/4 inches. Background has been added so the image will easily fit a
store
bought frame.
It has been fully restored,
particular
attention has been given to the depth of his eyes and shadow detail to his face. It is printed with archival inks on heavy weight satin archival
canvas and UV cross sprayed
. It looks like an OIL PAINTING.

Digital reproduction of an oil painting. It is printed on a 12 color professional printer with LUCIA archival ink.

About the canvas:

made and restored from a digital file using the old glass negative and in rare instances a print, it is
NOT
an original print or oil painting made in the 1860's or 70's and restored, (seems I had one buyer expecting an original restored print circa 1870's with actual signatures made by the General's on the print for .95, makes you wonder) it is a
restored
archival digital reproduction.
This is an exquisite print on canvas. This is NOT an oil painting it is a reproduction of an oil painting.
