    Description

Confederate enlisted man's 3 buckle bridle with woven canvas reins. Next to the CS halter Bridle this is the most common arsenal bridle made during the war. Features wire heel bar buckles to connect to the bit, made of top quality US russet leather, hand cut and hand stitched as were the originals after the pattern issued from arsenals from Virginia to Texas. Can be stamped with a choice of several arsenal stampings. The woven canvas reins were used almost exclusively after the summer of 1863 due to the chronic shortages of leather. Please check the prices of similar hand cut, hand sewn, period correct items, check my feedback, then bid with confidence. Paypal please, no international buyers please.
