    PLAN
    , which is an original kit
    PLAN

    one 53" span version, which is an updated
    PLAN
    from
    Model Builder
    magazine.
    Why the difference in wing spans on the enlarged copies?
    I suppose the Model Builder
    plan
    was drawn just an inch larger than the original kit
    plan
    in order to strengthen the middle rib joint. When I enlarge both plans 163% the MB
    plan
    comes out longer in the wing span. This means the enlarged patterns from the original kit are a tad smaller than those shown on the MB
    plan
    .
