March 24, 1958 - March 5, 1960
This commemorative bear "GI Blues", fondly remembers Elvis Presley's service in the U. S. army. Inducted on March 24, 1958 and stationed at Fort Hood, TX for basic training, Elvis then served in Friedberg, Gremany for 18 months. Elvis is promoted to Sergeant in January 1960.
Pricilla Ann Beaulieu's father is stationed at a nearby Air Force Base, and she meets Elvis at a party.
Elvis was honorably discharged from the Army on March 5, 1960
