Jimmy Velvet was only 16 years old when he met and became lifelong friends with Elvis back in 1955.  In addition to being a performer himself (and toured with Elvis), he was an avid photographer and would always have his camera nearby.  After Elvis died in 1978 he opened the Elvis Presley Museum in Memphis across the street from Graceland (he later opened ones in Honolulu, Orlando and Nashville).  He would go on to amass a huge collection of Elvis photos and many other items and only amassed more and more for years to come.
This photo is on a matte color photographic paper and is in great condition.  It has lots of luster and just a couple of very light scuffs.
These copyrighted photos from the the late 60's cannot be a common find.  So if you want something super rare, you need not look further!
