    You are bidding on a new set of plans for an Electraglide III Electric Sport Sailplane .
    It includes the Plans and
    the templates/patterns to cut the parts to build this great flying classic aircraft. Building instructions are also included. It is constructed of balsa and ply.
    Other plans are for sale too. I'll be listing them as I pull them out.  These plans are in perfect condition. All of my items come from a totally smoke free environment.
    The original Electraglide 62 we flew was one of the nicest powered sailplanes we had seen up to that time. The modernized Electraglide II far surpasses the original in all categories. It is easy to build, very easy to fly, and has a majestic glide that is hard to believe. And, best of all, you don't need expensive flight systems to fly it. Any of the 05 systems work very well. The Electraglide II is a fun to fly sport sailplane that'll do 15-20 minutes in still air and thermal with the best of them. The Electraglide II is destined to be a classic!
    In early 1996 I decided to enlarge the original model to a wingspan of 85" with 660sq. in. of wing area in order to use either the Graupner Speed 500 or Speed 600 2.8:1 gear motors and maintain a reasonable wing loading. The result is the Electraglide III, an attractive sport sailplane for those balmy summer days with their cumulus clouds and endless thermals.
