    Description

A much simplified version of our period-perfect pocket diary, this one is double-fan adhesive bound, blank but for a title page, with no rear pocket, and printed endpapers rather than hand-marbled. Instead of leather, we've used Kraft-Tex, , a sturdy paper-cloth that looks much like heavy construction paper, but can actually be washed and retain its full strength. (Not that you'd want to wash your whole diary, but if you're caught out in a rainstorm, this cover will weather the weather well).
Otherwise, it retains much of the look and feel of the nineteenth century, with all the work done by hand here in east Tennessee. At a glance, it's identical to our more expensive version, and still looks great with a closer gaze. We're pretty proud of the 5 copy, but are very happy with this one too, and trust it will be an important part of your kit.
    6 1/8 x 3 1/2 x 5/8" thick. 220 pages
It's a fully bound book and is not refillable. We also offer a leather sleeve you can refill with Moleskine inserts, which you'll find in our listings.
There is one more option for those wanting real leather, and it's a very close match at first glance for the full version. Bound just like the Kraft-Tex copy, the leather edges are cut rather than turned, and  it's postpaid
Customization: Send us a note if you'd like initials or a name instead of the Diary tooling. It adds just and is a great way to personalize for groomsmen, unit members, etc.
Please include a note letting us know which endpaper you would like.
