Civil War Period Civilian Breast strap

Breast straps were not an issue item, but there is plenty of documentation about breast straps.  Many soldiers used an additional surcingle as a breast strap. Others, on both sides, confiscated civilian tack and other equipment from farms or merchants when and where they could find it. Offered here is a common period pattern, copied from an original I recently examined, obviously confiscated and used with a period saddle.
Do not be confused with tack shop knock-offs, this item is an authentic copy of a period item, hand cut, hand dyed, and hand sewn as were the originals.
