    Civil War pistol cartridge box of the pattern made by E. Gaylord in Chicopee Mass for the Army pistol. Maker stamp on rear. This item is hand cut from an original pattern, hand dyed, stamped, and hand sewn as were the originals. These boxes held two packages of prepared Colt .44 cal. cartridges.
