This is a Gorgeous US ARMY CAVALRY civil war complete bridle -Full set up!! This is a high quality reproduction perfect for re-enactments while you leave your more fragile antiques at home safe in the display cabinet.Full horse size
It was part of a collection of a retired army NCO at Fort Campbell. It is comprised of both new ? And original old pieces. I doubt you will find one as nice anywhere or quite like it. I will start off with the bit it think it is a very good reproduction but I think it is an older one. It does not have as much weight as some of the newer ones which are much cruder. Now the rosettes they are old antique vintage originals; curb chain is old; reins are very old quite usable very good vintage condition. Now the headstall obviously newer with all brass hardware excellent quality double stitched harness leather nicely finished. You cans leave the quick snaps on it or remove them for a more traditional look.
Overall a super nice setup any re-enact or would be proud to own and use. A great display item that will make folks look twice. These bits alone sell for over 90$ when you can find them. The headstall is Tucker quality but I cannot find a mark. It’s super heavy duty. All brass hardware. Beautiful huge heavy brass hearts and bullseye rosettes top this piece off.
Condition: Excellent used vintage . Please look at pictures for exact condition The rosettes have only been lightly buffed with a soft cloth and there is some patina and green but overall very nice pleasing look. The leather parts have all been carefully wiped down cleaned and conditioned . This gorgeous piece is ready for display or use.
