    On consignment with us is this black leather cap box which the seller described as -
    "[a style] …  associated with CS use; some believe it to be of English origin. This repro was made by Chris Schreiber around 1990.”
    This cap box resembles the US 1845 pattern to some degree but is not an exact copy.  This item has seen its share of service but remains in solid serviceable condition.  Lambs fleece remains intact.  Brass finial closure plus a wide single belt loop in back. No stamps or markings.
