The headlines are reproduced in this Civil War display, featuring a solid wood base with a miniature 1861 Dahlgren cannon, plus an authentic .69 round ball from the war. This beautiful display comes with a metal nameplate marking the 150th anniversary of Gettysburg and a 6 x 8 Gettysburg coin and stamp portfolio. The portfolio contains a genuine vintage 1948 Gettysburg Address stamp, a 2011 Gettysburg State Park quarter and five 2009-2013 Lincoln pennies. There's also a 12 x 18 reprint of The Times front page from July 6, 1863. This outstanding keepsake draws immediate attention with the miniature 12-pound Dahlgren cannon, a weapon used throughout the Civil War. The 12" cannon features a cast zinc barrel, wood carriage, metal rimmed rotating wheels, detachable ramrod, metal chains/fittings and real rope breeching.
