1961 SNARK RAT MODEL AIRPLANE RAT RACER PLANS 36"X48" SUITABLE FOR FRAMING

Description

History: Ernest Lowry, world champion model plane builder, engineer, designer and competitor during the 1960's and 1970's. Mr. Lowry's designs and engineering upgrades have been incorporated into many of the top model plane and model plane engine manufacturers. Seven years ago I purchased Mr. Lowry's home and shop and obtained many of his personal model plane items
You'll note the photo showing Mr. Lowry's "SNARK RAT" rat racer being featured in the 1961 issue of "FLYING MODELS", one of many articles in several model plane publications.
Print measures approximately 36" by 48" with no creases, tears or other damage. The photos show a blue tint from the paper reacting to natural sunlight, but the actual print is bright white with clear, crisp black graphics. I had a professional print shop reproduce this after restorations. Original had creases and was folded into a pocket size, was very fragile and had numerous tears and bookworm holes. Item will be shipped rolled so it can be framed if desired, as it would make a great display of a piece of model aviation history. On the bottom of the print Mr. Lowry's name appears as he personally designed, built and competed with this plane.
